Okay so beautiful, I get it, you WANT to start a meditation practice. You know all the benefits of having a regular meditation practice in your life. But still for some reason you can’t quite close your eyes and do it.
This is why I am going to be taking about the most common road blocks that are getting in your way to creating a regular meditation practice in your life. The good news it’s going to be short, simple and to the point. The bad news it’s kind of going to leave you with no excuses to not meditate. But reallty, there are worse things to happen.
Nothing gets me more excited than speaking to a room full of women who are eager and ready to shift the conversation that they are having with themselves to a more loving and kinder dialogue. Okay, some things get me more excited like going wake boarding all day, and freshly painted nails, but this is pretty high on my list of life.
Seriously speaking a message from my heart to women who seriously need to hear this message, which at last count was practically everyone – myself included at times is something that gets me so high on life.
I’m guessing you’ve stumbled across this page because you are either wondering ‘seriously what the hell does a life coach do’ because you are thinking about becoming a coach yourself. Alternatively you are feeling the pull to work with a coach but you aren’t quite sure what you will get out of the experience, because at first glance it can be a lot of money, for what exactly?
It’s okay I’ve totally had that thought, not to mention, is this a real job? Yes, yes it is and it’s powerful work. Or don’t I have to have everything figured out to help people? You actually don’t, it’s not about what I know it’s about helping you see what you already know and giving you some nudges along the way 😉

Last week I took my introverted soul – you know the one who gets really nervous about having to go to an event by herself, and see other humans in real life to Danielle LaPorte’s Choose to Shine event.

Now I loved this night as a chance to catch up with friends, fellow coaches and light workers in this world. Danielle spoke about the best self help being self compassion and that really struck a cord with me. Today I am sharing what my 3 main takeaways I took from the event were.
I have spoken about completing a 4 day mediation intensive training a bit here and there, but today I really want to dive deeper into this because it has been such a beautiful incredible experience and I want to share this.
I first penned this post just after completing my meditation course and now am coming back to this 2 months prior (almost to the day) and have been meditating daily for 20 minutes or 40 minutes each day! Crazy for me to even fathom, now I am not saying this will be for your, but by sharing my experience I hope to help you with your own meditation practice if that looks even more hardcore than mine, or by simply taken a few mindful breaths before you get out of bed.
